Oooh! This was a sizzling but also beautiful, heartfelt read.

"Tulsa still thinks he's invincible to commitment and responsibility."

Tulsa Crow lives in the moment. He's thoroughly enjoying being a hot, young stud and part of an up-and-coming rock band. Girls are easy to come by and he's nowhere near ready to settle down. Then he gets blindsided by a sexy angel with blue eyes and an amazing singing voice. However, she's off-limits.

"Nikki Faris is a devil in a short dress. I'm starting to think her sole objective on this tour is to torture me."

Nikki is not immune to Tulsa, but she's wary of going there. A traumatic experience has left her scarred and reluctant to get involved with Tulsa. However, there is no denying the sizzling connection between them. When sparks start to fly between them, they need to keep their relationship under wraps...with great difficulty.

"She's starting to touch parts of me inside that have always been off-limits, untouchable by others. Until now, I never knew what I was missing, but she makes it easy to see."

This was a gorgeous story! Tulsa is cocky and confident. His brash persona covers a soft heart that holds his family close. I loved how Nikki changed him and made him want to be a better man. I loved how she brought out his vulnerabilities, his protective instincts and his swoony romantic side.

Nikki was vulnerable but a tough cookie. I enjoyed her sassiness and how she owned her sexiness. I loved how she was willing to expose her raw spots to Tulsa - how she let him see through to the core of her, and the trust she placed in him.

Such beautiful words from a fantastic author. Can't wait for the next book.

Nikki Faris is amazing.
Not only is she gorgeous, she’s also smart and strong. She says what she thinks, not worried about sharing her opinions or anyone judging her for them. She can defend the craziest ideas and has theories on everything from what she thinks jackfruit tastes like to why the stars always shine on the darkest nights.

Her lips.
Her eyes.
The way her head tilts back when she laughs at her own jokes. She’s adorably funny. Even the way she rolls her eyes is growing on me.
Nikki Faris is the sexiest woman I’ve ever spent time with, and I haven’t even slept with her.
Yet.
Her denim skirt rides up really fucking high when she’s sitting. I don’t know whether I should cover her or encourage her to wiggle more. Every time she moves around on that barstool, my eyes dash between her blues and those bare legs. I’m so tempted to run my hand over the smooth skin of her thigh, but I resist because I’m just starting to earn her trust.

“Tulsa. Tulsa. Tulsa.” Leaning back to look me in the eyes, she confesses, “It shouldn’t, but that really turns me on.”
I laugh again and stop her hand from wandering higher on my leg. “You’re a horny drunk.”
“I am,” she replies, resting her head on my shoulder. “Have you ever heard the phrase sleeping with the enemy?”
“I have.” I touch her, not able to stop myself as I tuck those wild strands of hair behind her ear.
The bartender sets the tab down in front of me. Nikki reaches for it, but I grab it first. “My treat.”
“I have a feeling I’m going to be swearing your name in the morning.”
I do a double take. “You mean because of the alcohol, right?” While waiting for her to answer a question I already know the answer to, images of her swearing my name for other reasons cross my mind.
She doesn’t answer, which is probably best.

Living in the capital of Texas with her family, Scott loves traveling and avocados, beaches, and cooking with her kids. She's obsessed with epic romances and loves a good plot twist. Her favorite color is blue, but she likens it more toward the sky than the emotion. Slow burn, freakin' sexy read! Gorgeous! Adored it!

"Ugh. He's so stupidly good-looking and getting cuter by the minute - damn him and his magnetic personality."

Scarlett Ripley agrees to attend a party on Jock Row because she just wants to have some fun and see people, after being cooped up indoors with a bad cold. However, she's not willing to compromise on her clothes or what she drinks. She's still sensible, after all. She also can't believe what comes out of some guys' mouths, even though they might be easy on the eye. When one hot jock asks her to step outside so he can ask her something, she doesn't realise until it's too late that she's just been kicked out of the house and the party!

"Little does she f*cking know we're outside because I think she's pretty and it's too hard to talk inside with all the noise.

Sterling 'Rowdy' Wade drew the short straw. However, once he gets the 'cock blocker' out on the porch, he thoroughly enjoys their snappy conversation and finds her sassiness refreshing. And, when she smiles....he's an absolute sucker for dimples.

"I've never, in my whole goddamn life, worked so hard to get someone to put their mouth on mine."

I ADORED Scarlett and Rowdy!! These two started out as flirty friends, as they took a simmering, slow-burn slide into freakin' sexy luurrvve! I absolutely enjoyed how the author rolled out their story with the timeline she used, and the games that they played. Flip! Their first kiss was all kinds of hot! 

Scarlett was a pretty strong character. I loved how confident she was and not particularly worried about other people's perception of her. She walked her own path, spoke her mind, and wasn't bothered about conforming or being popular. 

"I'm an athlete - a champion. I play hard and jock harder, and these little games I've started with her? I'm playing to win."

Rowdy was a solid guy. He understood the perks and pitfalls of being captain of the baseball team, but he refused to pander to the lifestyle that came with it. I loved that he was pretty down-to-earth, had his fair share of insecurities, but could also be cocky and crass. It made for a funny contrast. He was just such a gorgeous guy, inside and out. I loved his determination and patience to hold out for Scarlett, and how committed he was to her from very early on. I enjoyed his view of her - that he found her genuine, smart, beautiful and adorable; completely different from the groupies who normally hung around.

There's no angst in this book - it was just a fun, amusing, romantic, hot read. Thoroughly recommend.

Adored this college romance! 

"He's perfection. He's air. Which I desperately need right now, because I can't breathe."

Delaney met Maverick in her freshman year. There's attraction. There's chemistry. He makes an impression on her for a few reasons. However, they have no real interaction until a couple of years later. Even though she's not in a good place, there's no denying the attraction she has to him.

"Maybe I've been waiting two years for you to be free so I could ask you out."

Maverick was hugely taken with Delaney when he first met her, however, he messed up his chance to get to know her. When she's available again, he's determined not to let her get away. Unfortunately, he's got his work cut out for him, as she's sworn off football players.

"It's going to take a million hook-ups to get you out of my head.."

This story had everything I love in a college romance: great characters, sparkling banter, sizzling chemistry, a touch of angst, and a happy resolution. 

Emerson is sooooo cocky! I loved his confidence and how it masked the pain and issues he carried with him. Delaney is adorable! I loved her interests and quirks. I loved how, in spite of her nerdy personality, she couldn't resist a dare. It really showed how gutsy and brave she was under her good girl exterior. I loved the banter between them. They were funny and witty, flirtatious, and so sexy! They had fabulous chemistry and I desperately wanted them to get it on! 

Such a deliciously fun and sexy read. Thoroughly recommend!
