EXCERPT:

When his tongue peeks out to lick at the seam of my lips, I open until his warm minty breath can feather against my flesh. Everything about Austin Hawthorne intoxicates me. It always has. From the very beginning. I want to suck in a giant breath of him and hold it captive in my lungs.

My lips part just enough for his tongue to slip inside my mouth and mingle with my own. There have been so many times when he was forceful and overwhelmed my senses, taking what he wanted. This caress is the exact opposite. It’s tender and shatters my heart into a million broken fragments that will never be pieced back together again.

RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW: The P Arrangement by R.L. Kenderson

Title: The P Arrangement
Series: Rendezvous, #3
Author: R.L. Kenderson
Release Date: January 25th

Blurb:

All she wanted was to find a man who knew his way around her P.

I was probably what you would call a boss bitch. I was the youngest judge in the state—and a female one at that. My job was the hardest thing I’d ever done, but it was also the most rewarding. If only my private life were just as satisfying.

What I’d gained in my professional life, I’d lost in my personal one. Which meant I’d lost the man who knew my body as well as his own. The man who knew every single thing that turned me on and how to make me come. Too bad for me because, now, he was the guy no one could live up to.

That was where Preston St. James came in. That man knew how to worship my pussy, and I didn’t need to find a new guy when my ex-husband could give me exactly what I wanted. Exactly what I needed.

But maybe I should have taken into account what he wanted. Me.

*Tropes are spicy/smutty romance, lovers to enemies to lovers, second chance romance, exhibitionism, degradation, accidental pregnancy.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Loved every bit of this hella hot and emotional story.

"When he lifted his chin, I wasn't prepared to see the heat in them, and my heart started pounding for a whole other reason."

Delaney St. James has been divorced from her ex, Preston, for a year, but she still finds it hard to see him whenever they do a handover of their little boy, Paxton. He was the love of her life but she left him when things changed between them after Paxton was born. She's never met anyone else who does it for her, especially when the chemistry between them sizzles as furiously as ever. One night together again changes the dynamic in their relationship but Delaney's not sure if she can risk her heart once more.

"I've f*cking missed your taste."

Gaaaahhh!! Preston and his dirty mouth! I squirmed at the hot AF scenes between him and Delaney! 🥵🥵🥵 I loved their connection and the love that still burned brightly between them. I liked that they didn't play games with each other. Delaney recognised the risk of getting hurt all over again, but she just couldn't resist him. Preston's love for her was obvious and I adored how he defended her against his mother, as well as how he staked his claim on her. Aside from the sexiness, I also found this to be pretty emotional as they struggled with the marriage they lost, and also with Preston's fears. Their little boy, Paxton, was so cute and the three of them made such an adorable family. Absolutely love this writing duo and I totally need to read some more of their books.

RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW: Never Moving On by C.R. Lee

Title: Never Moving On
Series: Never U, #1
Author: C.R. Lee
Release Date: January 19th

Blurb

Being in love with your best friend sucks. Being in love with your best friend while he’s dating your roommate sucks harder. It’s time I do something about it.

Stella
The moment ten-year-old me laid eyes on the scrawny new kid in school, I loved Jacob Gonzales. Over ten-years of friendship, my feelings have never wavered.
Why then, did I introduce him to my gorgeous roommate? Call it a momentary lapse in judgment. Now, not only do I get a front seat to their daytime PDA, I get it in stereo every night.
Fun times.
It’s past time I move on, so when a sexy as hell football player asks me out, I agree.
Problem is, Jacob doesn’t want to let me go.

Jacob
First game of the season and I’m left with a concussion, no girlfriend, and a best friend who seems to be pulling away, even as I try to get closer.
As if things couldn’t get worse, along comes Mr. All-American Cornerback who eyes Stella like she’s his next meal and sets my douchebag sensors on high-alert.
No way am I letting some idiot with a wanna-be anime haircut steal her away from me.
Because Stella is mine.
Even if she doesn’t know it yet.

Never Moving On is a spicy best friends to lovers college romance with an alpharoll hero, no cliffhanger an a guaranteed HEA.

Caroline's Review
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

What a fab debut! Thoroughly enjoyed it. College, sports romances are my catnip and this one hit the spot for me.

"I'm sorry to break this to you, man. You don't treat her like just a friend."

Stella Leone and Jacob Gonzales have been best friends since they were kids. Their lives have been intertwined for ten years. They have an affectionate, tactile friendship but it's purely platonic. However, Jacob doesn't seem to realise that his best friend feels anything but platonic towards him and has to suffer through all his relationships. When his latest relationship with her friend and roommate goes south, and someone points out that his friendship with Stella is more than he thinks, he's suddenly seeing his best friend in a completely different light. Unfortunately, it looks like she's moving on.

"She belongs with me, belongs to me. And if that makes a domineering bastard, so be it. I don't care. Because I belong to her too."

I thought it was obvious from the little signs here and there that Jacob felt more than friendship for Stella. She has incredibly stoic in dealing with his relationships but I could understand why she put up with them - she loved him and wanted him to be happy, even if that meant it wasn't with her. But, goodness, she put up with a lot!! She was an excellent friend to everyone - caring, thoughtful and empathetic. Once their friendship stepped over the line, the two of them were fire! They already loved one another as friends but their intimacy added a whole other level. Jacob was a good guy but not flawless. He had his insecurities and vulnerabilities, and I thought that made him a very credible character. I adored the conclusion and how it became very clear that Stella was always the one for him.

RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW: How to Lose at Love by Sara Ney

Release Date: January 19

I needed a good girl to save my bad reputation.

With too much on my plate, the very last thing on my mind was a relationship—the football draft was looming and dating got in the way. I never understood why my teammates bothered with girlfriends. None of us had the time.

When my sports agent suggested that being seen in public with a respectable girl would be good for my bad reputation, I couldn’t think of a single person to help me out. The only girls I knew weren’t wifey material, and the ones who were? Might catch feelings.

Except Ryann Winters.

Responsible. Sarcastic. Smart. Ryann was perfect but there was one clincher: she was my teammates ex-girlfriend and I had recently been paid by him to dump her.

Not the best start to a fake relationship…

Caroline's Review
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Loved this funny, hot college romance!

"I'm going to teach you how to be a decent human."

Ryann Winters is shocked when her boyfriend sends Dallas Colter to break up with her. I mean, who does that??!! She's flabbergasted when he later propositions her to be his fake girlfriend - for the sake of his image. Yeah, no. But, yes, she does it, in the hopes to teach him a lesson. However, the grumpy, blunt a-hole is not quite who she thought he was, and things get a little bit complicated when fake suddenly tips over into real.

"I keep myself from telling her she's beautiful and one of the best things that's ever happened to me - that would be a lie because it couldn't possibly be true."

Ooh! I adored this story! Ryann is kickass! I loved her sarcastic, no-nonsense attitude. I admired her confidence and, overall, she was a woman who knew her worth, but was treading in unknown territory with the whole football fame thing. I enjoyed the sharp banter between Dallas and her. He was direct and really couldn't be bothered with what the media thought of him, but football was all he really knew. I loved how quickly he came to care for Ryann, realising that she was genuine, honest and down to earth. The two of them were hella hot together - I thoroughly enjoyed the build-up between them! I loved the family dynamic between the Colter brothers - the closeness, the irreverence, and the loyalty. There were moments between them that really made me laugh. I'm so looking forward to Drake and Drew's stories.

RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW: The Act of Trusting by Lexi Bissen

The Act of Trusting by Lexi Bissen is now live!

There was a sadness in her clear, gray eyes that I could see she tried to hide. A fight with her inner demons she didn't want to show anyone...

Camden Collins
Life was going well for me. I was on the right track: captain of the soccer team, grades were passing, and I had the respect of my team. Girls threw themselves at me. It was every twenty-year-old's dream.
Then I saw her...
One look at her, and it all changed. Something about her drew me in. A sense of protectiveness to guard this small, sad girl. In her eyes, I could see the fight she had within herself...and I wanted to be there for her. To protect her and be someone to lean on while she fought whatever it was. Nothing else seemed to matter but the dark-haired, beautiful girl I couldn't stay away from.

Blaire Wentworth
I wasn't the same girl I was four years ago. My life was stolen from me one night and I'd never have the chance to get old me back. Now I was just existing, not living. I went through the motions of my everyday routine, staying quiet and keeping to myself. Trusting and letting people in was a constant struggle.
Until he showed up...
I'd never seen someone like him before. Not once had I described a guy as beautiful, but that's what he was. He struck something in me, and I didn't know how to handle that. I was chasing nightmares no one knew about. Ones I kept to myself for a reason. Could I let this new person into my life that I had kept closed off from many for far too long? What if I let my guard down and he ended up destroying me?
And that became my greatest fear...

Caroline's Review

🌟🌟🌟🌟

This was a sweet and sexy romance.

"I'm a broken, scared girl with a past I'm ashamed of, that I'm sure will send him running."

Blaire Wentworth has kept herself closed off for years since suffering a terrible trauma. Her only friend is her flatmate, Emree. She's skittish and avoids parties and guys. When she finally agrees to attend a party, she comes across a guy who's relieving himself in the garden, and she runs away completely mortified.

"I want to make all our days together great."

Camden Collins is the captain of the college soccer team. He's gorgeous, friendly, and can have any girl he wants. Blaire intrigues him from the first, even though the circumstance surrounding their first encounter was awkward. He's prepared to bide his time, as long as Blaire gives him a chance.

"You have me. You have my trust. My heart. Everything. I would never do anything to hurt you."

Overall, I enjoyed this story. I loved that Blaire recognised early on that Camden was a really good guy. He melted my heart with his patience, his good intentions, and his protective instincts. He worked hard to charm Blaire and gently knock down her walls. I enjoyed Blaire's courage, and the fact that her desire for Camden pushed her outside her comfort, and she was willing to go further with him, as time went on. Camden was hella sweet and swoony - he was the perfect guy for her!

RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW: Cute But Psycho by Lani Lynn Vale

Title: Cute But Psycho
Series: Gator Bait MC, # 3
Author: Lani Lynn Vale
Release Date: January 17th

About the Book

Etienne LaFayette hits the ground running the moment he breathes free air after being paroled from a maximum-security prison in Texas.

He claws his life back from his brother-in-law who’d taken over his business during the years he’d spent as an inmate at Huntsville Penitentiary. Though it is hard, he puts his life back together in Accident, Florida.

There, he hires new employees, joins a motorcycle club, and becomes wildly successful overnight.

Seems like the perfect life, right?

Wrong.

Because one of his first clients is a beautiful, curly-haired woman that reels him in from the moment he first lays eyes on her. Only, before he can work his charm, she forms an opinion of him based solely on the person that he chose to work at his side, day in and day out. That opinion? Utter disgust.

***

Matilda Deveraux has been dealt blow after blow her entire life.

First with the death of her mom. Then living with a stepfamily that despises her.

Her entire life she’s been known as different. The “weird girl that creeps everyone out.”

It’s not her fault that she’s different, yet everyone, including Etienne’s assistant, treats her like she’s a menace to society.
Like she would be better off in a loony bin than gracing the streets of Accident, Florida.

After years of abuse from everyone around her, the last thing she needs is to be around a man that would have that horrible woman around him twenty-four seven.

As a result, she forms an opinion—something that people do to her all the time—and treats him accordingly.
Only, it turns out that Etienne isn’t who she thought he was.

He’s much, much worse. But only in the best of ways.

Caroline's Review
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Another easy 5-star read!

"What the hell is it about her that set my soul on fire?"

Matilda is a neurodivergent with sensory issues. She has been much misunderstood all her life and has been mistreated by her family. That's why she can't stand to be near Etienne LaFayette, as his right-hand woman is someone that has been cruel to Matilda ever since they met. Etienne is baffled by Matilda's hostility but as time goes on, things start to become much clearer.

"All I ever wanted was to be loved."

I loved every bit of this book. Another wonderful read with an unexpected storyline. I adored Etienne's protectiveness and patience with Matilda, as well as the way he completely understood her. Matilda was quirky and direct, and I loved her enjoyment of Etienne. Looking forward to the next book!

RELEASE BLITZ: The Game by Vi Keeland

Title: The Game
Author: Vi Keeland
Genre: Standalone Contemporary Romance
Release Date: January 16, 2023

BLURB

It started out like any other Tuesday.

I spent twelve hours writing algorithms for one of the largest companies in the world and then came home to work on a pet project of mine—feeding facts about the men I knew into a formula to find my perfect match before my twenties came barreling to a close.

But then a man knocked on my door and handed me some papers that turned my life upside down.

Apparently, a father I never knew existed had left me something in his will. That something turned out to be part ownership in a professional football team.

Next thing I knew, I was learning a sport I knew nothing about by spending time with the team’s quarterback who was out with an injury, a man who my formula would definitely determine was all wrong for me.

Christian Knox was too handsome and confident for his own good and could have any woman he wanted. Only lately the only woman he seemed to want was me.

But there was no way I was getting involved when I was now his boss, even if he was insanely gorgeous and had the dirtiest mouth I’d ever come across.

It would be wrong, wouldn’t it?

Probably. But you know what they say about things that are wrong...sometimes they feel so right.
