Thoroughly enjoyable story! Loved Buck!

Loretta Boggs, 35, PI and crime scene processor, burnt in love, done with trying to find love, but wants a baby. Buck Rogers, 26, genius, baby-faced firefighter, always working hard to be taken seriously, looking to settle down. The initial attraction is mutual, although they don't get off to a good start. However, that doesn't deter Buck.

"This was more than amazing sex. It was the feeling that he was really with me, that something sacred inside each of us was coming together. And I knew that I would never be the same."

Ooph! The chemistry between these two was electric! Buck melted my heart! He was mature, sincere, and so smitten with Loretta. His romantic gestures made me swoon. When his life becomes somewhat tumultuous, I sympathised with his need to keep Loretta safe, albeit in the dark. She was carrying a vulnerable heart that had been so hurt, but I loved that she gave Buck a chance. However, this wasn't just a love story, it was also a story about sisterhood and friendship. I loved what Loretta had going on in the town. This story was amusing, sexy and very heartwarming.

I've loved every book I've ever read this author and this one was no exception!

"My internal metronome was set to the beat of her heart."

Both Mari Mitchell and Leo Cooper had personal issues and hangups, which made their budding relationship tentative and hesitant. However, it was wonderful how they kept showing up for each other. Mari was real and I felt sorry for all the hurts that she carried around and fed her insecurities. For all his fame, Leo also had vulnerabilities. He was misunderstood but I loved how he forced himself outside of his comfort zone and stepped up for Mari. Their connection, chemistry and growing feelings were engrossing and thrilling!

This was an engaging, wonderful read and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

This was such a feel-good, sexy and adorable read!

"It was definitely a bad idea to employ a nanny whose hair I kept imagining wrapped around my fist at the same time as her legs were wrapped around my waist."

Clover Carew and Grayson Wynne were a match made in heaven and....who knew that the grumpy doctor would have such a dirty mouth! Clover was sweet, practical and beloved by all. Grayson was a brilliant father and I loved how Luca came first with him. There was instant attraction on both sides when Clover and Grayson first met, and I loved how they were honest and straightforward with one another. I liked that he didn't mess her around and told her exactly what he wanted. Clover was such a lovely soul and deserved to have a once-in-a-lifetime perfect love, who would always be there for her. I was thrilled that it came in the form of Grayson, plus Luca was a heartwarming bonus. What a perfect little family. Their HEA was seriously romantic! Roll on Gulliver's story.

This was a dark, compelling finale full of twists and turns.

"I want her back in my life, yes, but not in the same way. I want more, something deeper, something...dare I say like forever."

Picking up from the first book, Bel is recovering and her relationship with Drew is broken, but she is forming a different kind of relationship with Sebastian. This story really gripped me because there were a few secrets to be unravelled and, boy! It was worth the wait!

"Since the first moment I laid eyes on Bel, she was meant to be mine. The light to my darkness, the perfect mixture of pain and beauty."

Drew was downright dark and filthy but he yearned for Bel. He was uber possessive but I loved how nothing was going to keep him away from her, and that he was willing to do whatever it took to win her back. I felt for his awful situation and those revelations just kept coming! Bel came back strong in this book and I liked her belief in Drew. Even though she had a ton of doubts, I liked that she was also willing to put her trust in him. This was a fab read and looking forward to Sebastian's story!

This was a wonderful story of second-chance love!

Clara Hill and Nick Easton had a secret relationship during their senior year of high school. They had big dreams of living a life together until they broke each other's hearts. Years later, Clara is back in Green Valley, and Nick is a divorced dad of two kids. And, he's just moved next door to Clara. Their lives are different now and Clara is determined not to fall for Nick again, but the heart wants what the heart wants!

"How had I managed to live without her for all this time?"

These two! Their chemistry was hot and tense. I thoroughly enjoyed the way Nick was determined to win Clara back. Clara's insecurities broke my heart but I loved the way Nick and his kids crept into her heart - although, in truth, Nick never left it. This story was heartwarming, amusing and pretty darn sexy!

I have so much love and affection for Maggie and Shay! 💜 "I wanted her to keep looking at me forever, couldn't get enough of being seen by her." This was such a gorgeous story! I first read this on the author's Patreon platform and then decided to read the full story again as a finished novel. I loved the intense connection between Maggie and Shay long before they ever actually interacted with each other. Once they did, I loved the way the author got around Shay's muteness and Maggie's dyslexia to enable them to communicate to the fullest. Shay was a beautiful man. I adored how well Maggie 'heard' and understood him. In turn, his gentleness, thoughtfulness and kindness towards Maggie melted my heart. The desire and attraction between them was tangible and electric. "When he drew back, our eyes connected, and I knew we were thinking the same thing. I was his, irrevocably. And he was mine." This was such an inspiring story about overcoming disabilities and adversity, and finding love and beauty in the quiet places of the heart and mind. It was about connection, friendship and family. It was such a gorgeous, comforting read from an author who is longtime favourite of mine. Can't wait for Rhys' story.
