This was a lovely read - humorous, spicy and heart-felt.
Avril Huntington is desperate to prove herself to her big brother, Worth. The only way to do it is with the help of Ben East - charmer extraordinaire. He's a man who makes connections and collects favours. However, an unforgettable night between them almost rules out Ben's help as he doesn't like to mix business with pleasure - his reputation is his livelihood. Until a bargain is struck between them. A week of Avril living at Ben's apartment - a week that they will surely get more than they ever bargained for.
Avril and Ben had chemistry for days. She could be prickly and defensive, yet I enjoyed when she let Ben spoil her. Ben was wary and confused about his feelings even though he acknowledged that he was 100% into Avril. I enjoyed watching these two break down their walls for the other. Ben enjoyed Avril for who she truly was and she was honoured by Ben's vulnerability with her. I also enjoyed their relationships with their respective siblings and the honesty between them which lead to better relationships between them. This was a lovely, feel-good story all round.
