This was a wonderful story of second-chance love!

Years later, Clara is back in Green Valley, and Nick is a divorced dad of two kids. And, he's just moved next door to Clara. Their lives are different now and Clara is determined not to fall for Nick again, but the heart wants what the heart wants!

These two! Their chemistry was hot and tense. I thoroughly enjoyed the way Nick was determined to win Clara back. Clara's insecurities broke my heart but I loved the way Nick and his kids crept into her heart - although, in truth, Nick never left it. This story was heartwarming, amusing and pretty darn sexy!

I have so much love and affection for Maggie and Shay! 💜 "I wanted her to keep looking at me forever, couldn't get enough of being seen by her." This was such a gorgeous story! I first read this on the author's Patreon platform and then decided to read the full story again as a finished novel. I loved the intense connection between Maggie and Shay long before they ever actually interacted with each other. Once they did, I loved the way the author got around Shay's muteness and Maggie's dyslexia to enable them to communicate to the fullest. Shay was a beautiful man. I adored how well Maggie 'heard' and understood him. In turn, his gentleness, thoughtfulness and kindness towards Maggie melted my heart. The desire and attraction between them was tangible and electric. "When he drew back, our eyes connected, and I knew we were thinking the same thing. I was his, irrevocably. And he was mine." This was such an inspiring story about overcoming disabilities and adversity, and finding love and beauty in the quiet places of the heart and mind. It was about connection, friendship and family. It was such a gorgeous, comforting read from an author who is longtime favourite of mine. Can't wait for Rhys' story.

I couldn’t put this book down!! Totally addicted to it.

Helen Flanagan, 31, former nun, virgin, librarian, prefers to wear oversized clothes that cover her from the neck down, blushes easily and has no idea that she's a walking thirst trap.

"I don't know how or why she has this power over me, but it feels like I lose control of myself whenever I'm with her, like everything is weighted and meaningful in a way I don't totally understand."

Thaddeus Hughes, roughly the same age, former reality TV star, bounty hunter, loner, unprofessionally attracted to his target, but needs to get close in order to hunt down her rogue brother.

These two had tension for days, certain levels of mistrust due to their own personal hangups and disappointments, and chemistry that thrilled the pants off me! I 'heart' them so much. I loved how Thad just found everything about Helen so adorable. I liked the sensitivity he showed towards her, even though sometimes it annoyed her. Helen was awkward, direct and so blinking cute! I cheered her on as she grew from naive little kitten - tired of people making decisions for her or taking advantage of her to - into a roaring lioness - a woman who knew what she wanted and wasn't shy about it. This story was wonderful, heartfelt, so sexy and funny!

Gorgeous, sexy read. One of my favourites of the year!

When Logan Ford needs a chemistry tutor, unbeknownst to her, he specifically requests Rachel Edwards. They (literally) bumped into each other on the first day of freshman year, but up to now - their senior year - have never crossed paths. However, he's a popular football player and she's one of the brightest students in their year, so they're not unaware of the other.

"I'm always out of place. It's why I thrive on the edge, just out of the picture. It was nice to have you there with me."

Oof! The chemistry and attraction between Logan and Rachel was unreal! I loved how all of Rachel's preconceived ideas about Logan were smashed by the reality of him. He was so much more than some dumb jock. Rachel had suffered a major blow just before she was paired with Logan and he was a real balm to her self-esteem - the thrilling thing was that his desire for her was genuine. She was a major chemistry nerd and would have rather hidden in her dorm room and binged her favourite TV show rather that go a frat party, and I liked how Logan brought her out of herself.

"I don't think I've ever wanted to be so completely owned by someone in my life."

In turn, when Rachel got to know him, Logan showed her a side to himself that was smart and sensitive. He understood her and her insecurities so well. I thoroughly loved that there was no major bust up between them - purely because Logan refused to let her hide herself away and avoid hard conversations. I adored that they had each other's backs, truly valued each other's career aspirations, and the ending was one hundred percent swoonworthy! A first class romance!
