A beautiful, emotional, steamy read.

Anderson Bexley believes that everyone leaves. His pessimistic view leads to Hope Davis leaving him and his campground business for new adventures and city life. Hope didn't want to leave but she needed to move on because she believed that Anderson would love her back. One year later and she's unexpectedly back at Camp Bexley for her job. Anderson is full of regret at pushing Hope away and he's determined to keep her this time around. However, things are a little bit complicated for Hope.

"You've been engrained in me since the day we met. This is my attempt to engrain myself in you. Mind, body, soul."

This was a beautiful book and a fab intro to the rest of the Bexley family novels still to come. Anderson is one tortured soul. A tragedy from the past and subsequent fallout has him believing that nobody stays. He's left managing his family's campground business, fully hoping that all his family will one day return. I really felt for him and his issues. I was thrilled by his sexy alpha side and dirty mouth! He and Hope were so in sync and had an undeniable rapport. Hope had grown in confidence during her year away, but her love for Anderson never died, even though she tried desperately to move on. I loved how accomplished she'd become, but the connection and desire between her and Anderson was palpable. These two were super-hot together! Absolutely loved this story!

This was a great heartfelt read.

When Declan McAvoy, in a moment of inebriation, whispers a secret into a beautiful stranger's ear, he never expects to see her again. When Poppy is assigned by the college paper to write Declan's story, he is horrified to realise that she's the stranger and could blow his private life wide open. Things are further complicated by their mutual attraction and the fact that Poppy McGuire is his best friend's younger sister.

This was a great story. I thoroughly enjoyed Declan's need to be with Poppy, even though he knew that he was risking his friendship with her brother, and the equilibrium of the hockey team. I loved that Poppy brought light, perspective, and hope into his life. She was caring, trustworthy and only had the best of intentions. Her brother, Ryse, was overbearingly protective of her, but she definitely knew her own mind and could look after herself. I loved how the she finally found her own tribe and how she dealt with her roommate. This story was sexy, sweet, and heartfelt.

I loved this final instalment of Mason and Charlotte's story.

This story picks up directly after the public exposure of Mason and Charlotte's contract and how they deal with the fallout. During the course of the trilogy, Charlotte has grown incredibly from the loyal innocent into a strong-willed temptress who will not be cowed. I loved her integrity, her empathy, and her innate strength. Mason claimed my heart. He'd been so stoic and responsible for so much of his life, and I loved how much he needed Charlotte for himself and his own happiness. His pain was visceral but I loved how his joy in having Charlotte in his life eased his suffering. His declaration of love made my heart ache, and I just wanted to fling my arms around him and hold him tight. This was a such a fab, emotional and hot AF trilogy, and I'm so excited for the next story about the Hill family.

In high school, Jenna Hall and Brett Evans were enemies. She was Noah's girl and Brett was his best friend. The final straw was when Noah ditched Jenna to follow Brett to college on the other side of the country. Ten years later, Jenna is maid of honour (and the wedding planner) at her bestie's wedding and Brett is the best man. Sparks fly!

Loved the blurb for this book, as I'm a sucker for enemies-to-lovers, but I would have enjoyed a longer book so the relationship between Jenna and Brett had a bit more room to grow. She yearned for a loving committed relationship and he was a renowned player. It felt a little bit like they went from zero to sixty in a few short days. Don't get me wrong, I adore an insta-love story, but this wasn't supposed to be quite like that. They had history and baggage as enemies, and all that changed in a matter of days when they meet again for the first time in ten years. However, I enjoyed their dynamic, I enjoyed the drama that developed in the story, and I loved the HEA.
