I had mixed feelings about this story.

Kat is single mother determined to be independent. Blaze is the president of one of the local MC clubs. They have lust for days between them. Kat wants to make him fall in love with her. He doesn't know what love is. However, when her life is threatened, it makes him realise just what he could lose.

I struggled a little with this story. It often felt disjointed and I didn't feel much empathy for either of the main characters. I had no idea why Kat seemed to hate Blaze with a passion, yet she was fiercely attracted to him. There was no real development in their relation. They were snarky to each other, then all over each other. One minute they were on and the next they weren't. I had whiplash with the back and forth between them.

I enjoyed seeing her sister, Rochelle, and her Blaze's brother, Marcus, again. They had really come a long way from where they were in the first book. However, other than that, I'm kinda on the fence with this one. It just needed a clearer, smoother plot, and maybe more in-depth analysis on the nature of their growing relationship.
