Caroline's Review

🌟🌟🌟🌟

Funny and cute little novella with two snarky characters who don't think they're each other's type, but end up being perfect together.

"So why do I want it from Rex so bad? Because it will feel good. It will feel right. I know it with everything I have."

Hannah Peterson is ready for love but she's not everyone's cup of tea. Browsing the on-campus LoveU app, she comes across Rex Gunderson, who appears to be a male equivalent of her in character. In looks, he's far from what she normally goes for.

Rex is back on campus for a few semesters and looking for a casual hook-up. When he connects with Hannah, there's just something about the snarky, filterless girl that perks his interest and, suddenly, he's offering her lessons in how to date. She is beautiful and smart but she seems like too much hard work. However, as the evening wears on, they start seeing each other with new eyes.

"You're the sweetest guy I've ever met."
"Me? Sweet? I've been called a million things, but never sweet."

This story was fun and hilarious. Their exchanges made me laugh out loud. Rex has never been a favourite character of mine - he's arrogant and cocky and never seemed to be anything to write home about, however, in this novel, the author has managed to portray him as a changed man. He's sweet and pretty darn adorkable, and quite sexy, too! Hannah is a hoot. I love her crassness and directness. She's constantly planting her foot in her mouth. LOL. A great story!
