4.5 stars - this was a fab story. So sexy, charming, and a little bit heartbreaking.

Holton Mason and Blaire Gibson are both workaholics and control freaks. When they bump into each other at the airport in Savannah, the captivated interest is mutual. When another chance meeting has them crossing paths, there is no way that Holt is ready for his mystery woman to disappear out of his life. Against her better judgement, Blaire gives in to having dinner with him...she is on vacation after all. Against his better judgement, Holt is issuing Blaire an invitation to live in his house when she finds herself temporarily without a home. They both know that Blaire will be off home back to Chicago soon but neither is prepared for the effect they have on each other.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Holt has charm for days. He's gorgeous, focused and shouldering a lot of responsibility for the family business. He's guarded his privacy and heart heavily, yet Blaire smashes down those walls. Similarly, Blaire strives to remain detached from personal commitments and connections outside of her family, but Holt manages to push her boundaries down without much any effort. The chemistry between them was palpable and the emotional connection was raw. They felt totally inevitable in spite of the obstacles in their way.

A hot, fun and emotional read. I'm so looking forward to reading more about this family.
