Release Date: January 10

Echo Adler hates Reign Davidson. He's the reason the love of her life left her all alone and broken hearted two years ago.

So it should be easy to stay away.

It should be easy to not dream about his dark and mean eyes, or his cruel but sexy smirks. It should be easy to not think about the guy who ruined her happily ever after.

Only it's not.

Sometimes his intense stares make her heart race, and those smirks of his make her breathless.

But it needs to stop.

Because she has a mission: to get back together with her ex-boyfriend. And Echo will be damned if she keeps dreaming about Reign.

The guy who not only makes her sick with hate but who also happens to be her ex's best friend.

Caroline's Review

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This book was fire! Intense, raw and so addictive. When I read the very first book in this series, I thought the author's dialogue writing-style was a little pedantic, but I now find it very compelling. It really draws out the moments between the characters as they make each other spell things out between them, as well as build the intense atmosphere between them. This is true for all the books in this series and I feel like I can't get enough of them!

"Reign Davidson is my kryptonite. He's my catnip. My personal poison. My insanity drug. He's my anti-soulmate who makes me sick with hate."

Echo Adler and Reign Davidson first met on her twelfth birthday when he was fifteen. She's the poster child for being a good girl, and he's the one for being a bad boy. Their connection was forged on that night and her crush was born. A crush that she harbors until he kills it with a few heartless words. When she becomes his best friend's girlfriend, things between them become rife with animosity, and a hate that consumes them. As the saying goes, there's a fine line between love and hate.

"I'm insane for you. I'm obsessed with you. You're the life in my veins, and you're the thing I crave more than air."

Gaahh! I was totally hooked on this story! The way things started between them, the way they degenerated, and those revealing diary entries! And, the angst. Oh my heart! Echo and Reign were always on a collision course and when they came together, they were like dynamite. 💥💥💥 These two shredded my heart. Echo constantly striving to make things right and make other people happy. Reign's lack of self-worth and how he didn't think he deserved her. The whole story was tense with incredible chemistry, steamy intimate moments, emotional depth, and such a rawness of feeling. This is a big book and I loved every single word. A trademark SAK novel with all the feels!
