Caroline's Review
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I enjoyed this second part of Lily's story just as much as the first.

"My heart pounded in my chest as he stood before me, the electricity of our connection sparking between us and stealing my breath."

Lily is not in a good place mentally and physically. Missing Jonas and feeling like she needs to protect everyone else in her life from her toxic, and potentially dangerous, ex has her running herself into the ground. Until enough is enough and Jonas comes back into her life, but it is not clear to Lily in exactly what capacity.

"There is something there between us. I don't know what it is yet, but I want to try to find out."

The connection between Jonas and Lily was as magnetic and compelling as ever. No matter who tried to pull them apart, it didn't dim the fire between them. I wished Lily had been stronger and reached out for help, but she was totally spiralling and my heart hurt for her suffering and desperation. I'm so keen for the last book now as this book finished on a tender and promising note that really tugged on my heartstrings.
