Loved Sloane and Jax's story!

Sloane Sinclair has a ton of responsibilities on her shoulders with raising three younger siblings, working at the bakery, and juggling college. She's all about surviving and putting everyone else first. When her girlfriends treat her to a weekend in Vegas for her birthday, she never expected to come home married to Jax Wilder, the hockey player who flirts with her at every opportunity. The marriage is convenient when it protects her from losing everything she fights every day to hang on to, but can she risk her heart?

Sloane is tough, resilient and stubborn. She's one hell of a woman juggling work, college and family to the point of exhaustion. I loved watching her gradually leaning on Jax and learning to trust him. Jax is a total sweetheart. I loved how he took everything in his stride. He'd never minded living alone but I adored how much he loved the chaos and loudness of family life. Sloane and her siblings breathed new life into his home and life.

"The wonderful thing about life is that you're the one who gets to write the story."

This story melted my heart. The Vegas vows, the way the kids came to love Jax, the way Sloane realised that she couldn't be without him, Jax's mum, the friendship group, and that scene during the game when Jax realised that Sloane was all in herself. I was so there for it!
