Scholarship student Maybel Jacobs AKA Bel likes to go unnoticed. If she's not studying, she's tutoring. However, she has a good heart. A heart that gets her noticed by Andrew AKA Drew Marshall - rich, gorgeous, popular quarterback. A golden boy hiding a dark personality. Drew is jaded and always looking for the perfect prey. What he finds in Bel is pretty much perfection, but she rebuffs him at every turn. Let the hunt begin!

This story was addictive reading. There was a lot of push-and-pull between Bel and Drew. Drew was like an unstoppable juggernaut ploughing through Bel's life but, man, gotta feel sorry for that guy, too. He had a truly awful father and he was pretty much stuck between a rock and hard place. I really liked Bel - she was resourceful and determined. I liked her fight. I can't wait for the next book as this one ended on a doozy of a cliffhanger!
