I’m silent. I’m trained. I’m lethal.
My hand skimming down your thigh, my gaze a weapon—I know more ways to kill you than please you.
But you’re not paying for my aim. You’re paying for my control. Bringing you a breath away from ecstasy, watching you beg as I hold back your release, I’ll show you exactly what you’ve been missing. Your hunger is my currency and five thousand is my price. I only have one rule—no repeats, because I’m not for keeps. I’m for sale.
One slow grind and I’ll give you exactly what you paid for.

Gah! I absolutely love this author!!
“Dane Marek wasn’t a problem solver. He was my savior.”
Dane Marek is a loner. Mysterious and dangerous, he’s a gun for hire and also an occasional escort. He NEVER does repeats for either line of work.
“You’re beautiful and broken and the strongest woman I know.”
Irina Tsarko Fedorov is in trouble. She’s on the run, only to find herself in bigger trouble when she meets Dane.
“She was no longer the inconvenience I’d encountered an hour ago. She was a f*cking disaster about to detonate my life to hell.”
This story was fast-paced, intensely sexual, and compellingly raw.
Dane is hardened by his experiences in the marines and hardened to love by ex-wife. Irina is in such a bind. Her life is a prison of sexual, mental, physical abuse. She doesn’t believe that she’s capable of love. Dane never expected Irina to have such a strong effect on him. She might think she’s weak but she’s a survivor, and Dane admires the hell out of her strength. I loved how this seemingly weak, submissive woman had such an impact on Dane’s heart and mind. For someone who was pretty stone-cold, she completely melted his heart, and I loved how he was all in – how he was willing to do anything to keep her safe.
I enjoyed watching them build trust and love in such a short space of time. He just completely understood her and her needs and, in turn, she was undone by his gentle care of her. I just loved how possessive he was of her and the fact that she brought out a softness in him that was lacking before.
I found this book to be a gripping read and I just couldn’t put it down!
Author Bio
But Seriously?Sybil Bartel grew up in Northern California with her head in a book and her feet in the sand. She dreamt of becoming a painter but the heady scent of libraries with their shelves full of books drew her into the world of storytelling. She loves the New Adult genre, but any story about a love so desperately wrong and impossibly beautiful makes her swoon.Sybil now resides in Southern Florida and while she doesn’t get to read as much as she likes, she still buries her toes in the sand. If she isn’t writing or fighting to contain the banana plantation in her backyard, you can find her spending time with her handsomely tattooed husband, her brilliantly practical son and a mischievous miniature boxer…
Here are ten things you probably really want to know about Sybil. She grew up a faculty brat. She can swear like a sailor. She loves men in uniform. She hates being told what to do. She can do your taxes (but don’t ask). The Bird Market in Hong Kong freaks her out. Her favorite word is desperate…or dirty, or both—she can’t decide. She has a thing for muscle cars. But never reply on her for driving directions, ever. And she has a new book boyfriend every week—don’t tell her husband. To find out more about Sybil Bartel, be sure to follow her on Twitter (she loves to hear about your favorite book boyfriend!), visit her website, like her on Facebook or join her Facebook group Book Boyfriend Heroes for exclusive excerpts and giveaways.
