Title: All of You All of Me
Author: Claudia Burgoa
Genre: Adult Contemporary
Release Date: August 9, 2017
Blurb
One heinous tragedy changed my entire family forever.
That morning, my world crumbled. I lost my parents.
Now, I live by certain rules.
Don’t let anyone know what goes on inside your head.
Stay away from crowds.
Never fall in love.
Though, that was until her. She has me
questioning everything.
It’s the haunted eyes.
The sultry voice.
The sweetness under her armor.
Everything about her captivates me. The surge of energy we
create with one touch has me searching for her, even when there’s also
something dark underneath her bright smile.
Unable to resist the desire toward her, I break my rules
giving her all of me while expecting all of her.
Another amazing, deep story from one of my favourite authors.
So, let’s get the cover out of the way first. It’s my absolute favourite cover from this author, yet. I couldn’t stop looking at it when it was first revealed.
In terms of the story, I love how this author constantly challenges herself with her storylines. They are often intricate and emotionally challenging.
Hunter and Willow are two broken people, both scarred by traumatic and troubling childhoods.
Willow is fiercely independent with a huge defensive wall around her heart. Hunter sees through to the core of her and wants to be the one she turns to in time of need. However, one scary episode has their fledgling relationship splintering, which is a catalyst to their individual journeys to self-help, self-acceptance and, ultimately, back to each other.
This story was sexy, heartbreaking, heart-melting, and incredibly moving. It had all the feels, and as much beauty as there was ugliness, as Hunter and Willow conquered their fears.
Willow is a hugely complex young woman and I feel that she had the biggest journey of the two, especially when she realises that her perception of her childhood and her family is not quite how they actually are. Hunter is a gorgeous soul. He’s looking for an abiding love, someone to take care of, someone to take care of him, in return. I adored his romantic gestures. I adored his tender care of her. I loved that he never gave up on her, even when it seemed like he had.
Again, as with this author’s other novels, family is a big theme. Family through friendship, as well as through blood.
Such a fantastic story and thoroughly recommend.

“Loving a woman like Willow Beesley is heaven and hell. She’s the beautiful fire I want to touch even when I know the blazing flames might destroy me.”

“I’d rather have my heart broken than miss the chance to be with you.”
