A great addition to the Awkward Love series.

The bane of Darcy's life is the fact that her birthday is on April Fool's Day, and her two best friends love pranking her. Mind you, she gives as good as she gets! However, when their latest prank leads her to an interesting, flirty online chat with the mysterious James, she thinks that there's potential for something more. In the meantime, her soon-to-be stepbrother, Cameron, has moved back into the family home, and seems to find a lot of amusement at her expense. He's always come across as an arrogant, cocky jerk. So imagine her dismay when James and Cameron are one and the same?

Cameron has always kept himself distant from Darcy. Aside from her obvious attractions, he's not keen on the fact that she likes to play little pranks that will surely backfire on her, one day. However, what starts as a little prank of his own turns into something more serious. Unfortunately, before he knows it, they're stuck in a game where it's unclear who is actually being pranked, and has them questioning what is real and what is just pretend.
This was a fun and sexy story. This author always manages to portray those embarrassing, cringe-worthy moments perfectly! LOL
I felt sorry for Darcy for having to put up with constant jokes on her birthday when it should be a really special day for her. However, she seemed to be a good sport and could dish it out pretty well herself. Cameron is something of a dark horse. He's obviously attracted to Darcy and, considering his actions, he's also a really good sport. I loved the bit of vulnerability he showed and absolutely loved the ending!
