This was a great read that addressed some real issues.

"What has my hackles rising anytime she's near is my body's reaction to her. The woman hates me with ever fiber of her being, while I have to fight tooth and nail to keep my hands off her."

Oliver Conley and Savannah Reynolds hate one another. However, there's a fine line between hate and lust. No matter how much they can't stand one another, it doesn't seem to affect their libido - which only makes them hate each other more. However, one kiss between them seems to change their dynamic and when Oliver begins to pursue her in earnest, Savannah finds herself giving in bit by bit. As their relationship deepens, the demons that they're both fighting may end up breaking them apart.

"I have never been so infuriated with someone yet so consumed by them at the same time."

Both Oliver and Savannah were strong characters. They were fiery, snappy and a little bit exhausting! LOL. There was so much enmity between them that something had to give sooner or later. Oliver had real anger issues, as well as a massive chip on his shoulder. Savannah also had a bit of a chip on her shoulder, as well as much deeper self-esteem issues. However, issues aside, they were well-suited in terms of their personalities - both needed a strong partner to match them. I enjoyed the book overall but their happiness certainly felt like a hard-fought battle.
