Secretly hooking up with the team captain's sister was a bad idea.

In my defense, the first time I saw her I didn't know who she was.

Kind, gorgeous, a little naรฏve. Ginny brightened my world from day one.

I knew I was no good for her. She was just out of a relationship and I had a reputation for having a new girl in my bed every weekend.

I tried to do the right thing. Honest.

I'm the one who insisted we should be just friends.

That lasted about as long as you'd expect.

But Ginny? She's the best--best friend, best everything.

So yeah, hooking up with the team captain's sister wasn't a great idea.

Would I do it again?

In a heartbeat.

Adored this one! This was a fun, sexy, secret romance story about hockey player, Heath Payne, and Ginny Scott (his team captain/roommate's sister).

"Friends? With Ginny? I can't stop staring at her lips. That's not a thing friends do, I don't think."

Genevieve AKA Ginny Scott is a freshman at Valley U, where her older brother is the big man on campus as he plays for the successful college hockey team. On her first day at lunch, she meets a gorgeous guy in the lunch queue and comes to find out that he's not only her brother's teammate but also shares his apartment. She's had a painful breakup so, although their chemistry is undeniable, she's not keen to start a relationship. And, Heath is not a relationship kinda guy anyway.

"I like her. I like being with her. She makes me be in the moment more deeply."

Heath friend-zones himself after one heated kiss with the beautiful Ginny. There are plenty of reasons why they shouldn't be more. However, as they spend more and more time together and get to know each other really well, it's clear that friendship is not going to be enough.

"There's an energy that flows through my veins that doesn't exist when she's not with me."

I thoroughly enjoyed this romance! Ginny is getting over a breakup and Heath has issues that make him shy away from love, but I loved their connection. They were clearly attracted to each other from the start but had good reasons to friend-zone themselves. However, hot chemistry is hot chemistry! They were really fun, sweet and sexy together. I also loved their relationships with their older brothers and their camaraderie with their friends. They were an entertaining and amusing bunch. Looking forward to more from this series (I can't wait for Maverick's story).
