RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW: These Thorn Kisses by Saffron A. Kent

Release Date: December 7

Eighteen-year-old, Bronwyn Littleton is in love with a stranger she met on a summer night a year ago.

A stranger who was tall and broad in a way that made her feel safe. He had dark blue eyes that she can’t stop drawing in her sketch book. And he had a deep, soothing voice that she can’t stop hearing in her dreams.

That’s all she knows about him though.

Until she runs into him again. At St. Mary’s School for Troubled Teenagers – an all girls reform school – where she’s trapped because of a little crime she committed in the name of her art.

Now she knows that her dream man has a name: Conrad Thorne.

She knows that his eyes are way bluer and way more beautiful than she thought. And that his face is an artist’s wonderland.

But she also knows that Conrad is her best friend’s older brother. Which means he’s completely off-limits. Not to mention, he’s the new soccer coach, which makes him off-limits times two.

What makes him off-limits times three however, and this whole scenario an epic tragedy, is that, Conrad, Wyn’s dream man, has a dream girl of his own.

And he’s as much in love with his dream girl as Wyn is in love with him…

NOTE: This is a STANDALONE set in the world of St. Mary’s.

This story was so freakin’ good! It had all the tension, all the feels, all the hotness!

”I would risk everything for him. Everything. I would choose him every single day and every single time. I would choose him over myself.”

Bronwyn Littleton is an artist, although her overbearing parents refuse to accept it, insisting on steering her in other directions. She struggles to conform until a chance meeting with a gorgeous, inspiring stranger changes her life. Eighteen months later, she comes face to face again with her Mystery Man, who turns out to not only be her best friend’s much older brother, but also the new soccer coach, Conrad Thorne. He doesn’t appear to remember her. Bronwyn has a sterling reputation of being the good girl of the school, however, Conrad has a way of bringing out the bad girl in her. His gruff, scowly demeanour doesn’t deter her crush, especially when he unexpectedly shows a caring side every once in a while. When she realises that he's in love with another teacher at the school, she’s determined to make him happy by bringing them together, but things have a way of getting out of hand.

”I’m going to eat you up. I’m going to drink you down. I’m going to inhale you. Inject you in my bloodstream. I’m going to f*cking live you.”

OH.MY.GOD! This was such an addictive read. I loved every word I read. Conrad totally captivated me. He was fierce, intense, possessive and also immensely devoted to those he loved. My heart bled for the sacrifices he’d made in the past but it spoke volumes about his character. Bronwyn was sweet, confident and determined. In spite of her upbringing, she was a backpack full of sunshine. I adored how much colour and light she brought into Conrad’s life. There was so much electric tension and compelling attraction between them – the slow, erotic burn was scorching!! Conrad was a hella dirty talker – gaaahhhh! He was so freakin’ hot! However, beneath all the sexy hotness, there was also a well of tenderness and unspoken emotions between them, which only increased the tension. I thought was such a fabulous read. I couldn’t get enough of it!
