Love a road-trip romance! This was a fab little read - sweet and sexy. Loved the scenery and adventure - added a few spots to my bucket list!

When Georgia's best friend is unable to accompany her on their planned road trip down the Oregon coast, she's dismayed to discover her replacement is Rex Kelley. He's her friend's older brother that she crushed on for years, until he unknowingly broke her heart in high school. Over the years, she's avoided him as much as possible. Now, she's stuck with him and it's awkward and painful as hell. Not just for her, but for him, too, although he has the opposite problem. He's been crushing on his sister's best friend for years, but has no clue why she can't seem to stand him.

"Whatever piece of myself I felt was missing...it didn't feel missing when I was around him."

This was such a great story. Georgia is prickly, defensive, and dislikes deviating from her plans. It's the only way she can maintain some kind of control over her uncertain life. Rex wants to show her how to live and be spontaneous, so I loved how he pushed her out of her comfort zone. Poor Georgia was holding on to an old hurt, even though if she knew Rex at all, she should have realised that not all was as it had seemed back then. Rex was gorgeous, thoughtful, and just an all-around good guy.

"I knew this was my chance with her. And I was going to take it."

I loved their road-trip adventure and kept stopping to look up the real-life places that they visited, and where they gradually began to fall for each other properly. They were both carrying particular issues around, but I adored how Rex had a carpe diem mindset and nothing was an obstacle to their future together. This was a solid, feel-good read with a good dose of sexy!
