Whenever I hear that there is another book in this series I get so excited! I cant express enough how much I adore these characters and A Winter Kiss is no exception to that.

A Winters Kiss is Mattie's story. Mattie runs the cafe located with the bookshop and Tom who works in the book shop along with the other characters we have met in previous books (Posy, Verity, Nina etc). When Verity decides to move out of the flat above the bookshop, Tom and Mattie go head to head to convince Posy that they should be able to move in, with the ending resulting in them becoming flat mates.

I just love love love all these characters and I love seeing how they all progress with each book! Posy now pregnant and Nin and Verity settling down (if you can really call it settling down), yet the bookshop still running along nicely.

Although we have met Tom plenty of times in previous books, I never felt that I really knew his character very well and so this was a great book to solve that.

This book has really made christmas for me this year! I never read christmas books before december but made an exception for this one as I was so excited for it and I am so glad I did!

This book is part of a series, however would be perfectly ok to be read as a standalone with no confusion. I would however, reccomend that all books are read to really get to know all of the characters.

Cobi Mayson. Do I really need to tell you all about him? He’s all hot, all alpha, all swoon. Like every other Mayson man. God, I swear they’re all the reasons I buried my ovaries in 2015 (it’s when I finally read them). 

Hadley Emmerson. I freaking love her! She cracked me up repeatedly! I love her smartass quips (reminds me of myself lol). Her family consists of only her, her best friend and her bestie’s fiancé; but she’s okay with that. 

Cobi’s a cop. Hadley is a social worker. He has the amazing Mayson family and grew up in a fairytale. She has crappy parents and wonders how she made it out alive. 

When she attempts to rescue Cobi’s cousin, Harmony, but ends up putting herself in that very same traumatic situation; Cobi comes to her rescue only to realize she’s the one for him. It takes her a minute to catch up but once she does, it’s smooth sailing. 

Of course there’s more drama, wouldn’t be one of Aurora’s stories if it didn’t. But it flows and pulls you on and keeps you enthralled. 

The whole family is back for this one to remind you how much you love them all. This series will never get old. Every Until book reminds me how much I love ARR.

This was such a charming, cute story!

"She was perfect in all the ways that drew me in, and with her quirky yet adorable awkwardness, she was imperfect in all the ways that I found endearing."

Leo Landry is immediately taken with Gemma from the first moment he meets her, in spite of her awkward manner. When she disappears out of his life without even knowing her name, he can't help thinking about her constantly. The last place he expects to find her is at his Nonna's house!

"Sweet baby Jesus in a manger, this guy's eyes were locked and loaded and prepared to take down any female in their vicinity."

Gemma Holden is a serial temp. She dropped out of college and has taken a whole host of jobs to keep her income flowing. When one quirky job puts her squarely back in Leo's life, there's no mistaking their chemistry. And, when it's clear that he wants her, there's no hope of holding back. 

"She was my girl. My bombshell mystery package that only I had the pleasure of unwrapping. Mine to kiss. Mine to hold. Mine to taste."

This was a pretty adorable story. Leo is straight-up swoony! He's tough when he needs to be but he's also massively down-to-earth and an all-round good guy. I loved how much he cared about Gemma and always trying to impress her. I loved how much he wanted to support her and help her to realise a dream that seemed so out of reach. Gemma is super cute and resourceful. However, she certainly needed an injection of confidence where her future was concerned. I was annoyed about her negative reactions to Leo's encouragement. She was really stubborn in her attitude.

Overall, this was a great, humorous with some great cameo characters, too.
