Ah! Freakin' adored this story!

It was another fun, male-POV romcom from one of my favourite authors! 

“My best friend’s sister kissed me so passionately I don’t know how I’ll erase the image from my mind when I go to bed tonight. Or whether I’ll want to let that memory slip away at all.”

Cooper has finally left the bench and is living up to his potential as the starting quarterback for his team. He’s also been the most popular lot at the annual bachelor auction – his reputation for delivering the goods has been spread far and wide amongst the ladies. However, this season, he’s been living like a monk – purely superstition to keep the team’s winning streak going. Unfortunately, the team’s owner’s sister has had her shark eye on him for quite some time, and plans to win an unforgettable night with Cooper. Luckily, his long-time friend, Violet, correctly interprets his plea for help and places the winning bid on him. 

“Wanting her is simply a fact in my universe. It’s gravity. It’s the moon spinning around Earth.”

One hot kiss for the audience later and it’s as if Cooper has woken up and, suddenly, Violet is all he sees, all he thinks about, and all he lusts for. The hot kiss snowballs into a masquerade where they find themselves agreeing to a mutually beneficial fake relationship. However, Cooper realises that he wants something much more with his best friend’s little sister, but he’s really not too sure if she’s really that into him or not.

“My heart seems to take on a different shape when I’m near her. A new and wholly unfamiliar shape.”

This was a such a fun, sexy story of two friends falling in love. I loved Cooper’s overwhelming desire for Violet, their chemistry, their banter, and how well they gelled together from having been friends since they were kids. 

It was low in angst and made for a simply wonderful read, with little snippets of them in the past, which showed just how much they’ve always meant to one another. And, that ending! So swoony!! Another winner from talented author.
