The Woman at 72 Derry Lane
by
Carmel Harrington
Set on a beautiful leafy street in Dublin, the novel explores the unlikely friendship between two neighbours. Beautiful, serene Stella, who appears to have it all, and gruff, bad-tempered Rea, who seems to have lost it all…including her marbles if you believe the neighbourhood gossip.
But appearances can be deceiving and both women discover that behind closed doors everyone has a secret they are desperate to keep…
Claire's Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This book is about Stella and Rea who are neighbours who on the outside are completely different people but who have more in common than first thought. This book really sucked me in and even though I thought I knew what would happen, it went in a completely different path. This book is so well written with well-developed characters and is highly emotional in parts.
I have only read one Carmel Harrington book before this one which I really enjoyed and after reading this one I think I definitely need to check out more of her books as her writing really is phenomenal and keeps you hooked to the very end.
This book is a total must read!
