REVIEW: Nightshade by Molly McAdams

Nightshade (Redemption Book 3) by [McAdams, Molly]

Nightshade by Molly McAdams

The heart-stopping final installment in New York Times bestselling author Molly McAdams’s Redemption series.

My life has never been my own. From the time I could walk, I was trained to be the mob’s hardened assassin. To be a monster. I’ve been told what to do, when to kill, and who to love. The minute I strayed, I lost everything.

Then I met Jessica.

She swept into my life like a storm of heartache, seduction, and intrigue. She’s everything I hate, but with one look, I can’t stay away. With one touch, she ignites a craving unlike anything I’ve ever known.

But her secrets threaten to destroy everything closest to me. Including her…

Together we’re poison. A destructive combination of darkness and chaos. And I want to savor every drop in my veins.

Julie's Review

⭐⭐⭐⭐

I'd always liked Nightshade or Kieran, he was a very troubled soul, but he had a good heart, even if he didn't think he did.

Really liked Jessica, sassy, kind; she went after what she wanted.

A total thrilling suspense of a read, it most certainly keeps you wanting more.

Molly McAdams has a way about her that brings you right into the thick of it; makes you want to cheer the underdog. She makes you fall in love with the characters.

This starts where Firefly left off, with Beck and Conor getting on with their lives and jobs. Kieran had another agenda, and was working his way through it until he met Jess.

I loved how Jess was as stealth as nightshade was deadly. They may have fought and denied their feelings for so long, but they 'got' each other.

I always thought that when Kieran and Lily's relationship was strained, and by his own admission he was 'motivated' by the job. Leaving Becks to comfort her and that was almost a similar situation with Jess, but Kieran began to see things differently.

These suspense thrillers really keep you hooked, keeps you wanting to know whats next, whilst slowly devouring the book.

Great story, understated romance, beautifully written to effortlessly keep you turning the pages.
