RELEASE/REVIEW: The Candle Palace by Devney Perry

Sometimes a single flame can ignite a love that lasts a lifetime.

Milo Phillips knows the meaning of pain. Suffering through the most intense physical agony of his life, he’s confined to a hospital bed to bear it alone. More than once, he wishes he’d died in the explosion that melted and mangled his skin. Darkness consumes him, snuffing all the joy in his life and leaving an empty hole in its place.
But one day, a flicker of light sneaks into his hospital room, driving away some of the hopelessness. For the first time in months, pain isn’t all he feels.

The flicker’s name is Sara Foster, his new nurse. Milo just hopes that Sara can see past his scars. Because underneath, his heart has begun beating again just for her.

Danielle's Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I need to give The Candle Palace twenty thousand stars! I loved this book so much!

Milo was injured in the house explosion with Jess, y’all remember that right? So, now he’s stuck on the burn unit trying to heal and get back to work but what he never expected to feel was grateful for the accident. He’s grateful because it leads him to Sara.

Sara is Milo’s nurse, and she quickly realizes that she can’t be that anymore. Not because she doesn’t like him but because she does...too much.

Milo....GAH! He is so freaking perfect! Maybe it’s the nurse in me but I wanted to be the one to take care of him. He was seriously unflawed. Not one thing about him would I change. And Sara, “plain old” Sara. Y’all. Omg she is so perfect for Milo!!! These two are for reals the most amazing couple yet! Or of them all because it’s over now isn’t it?! *bawls crying*

We all met Milo & got a glimpse of Sara in the Sheriff’s love story, but I NEVER KNEW MILO WAS THIS SWOON-WORTHY!

WHY DIDN’T I KNOW THIS DEVNEY?!?!

Their connection was so beautiful, I loved how I could feel the feelings growing between them. Seriously y’all, SWOON CITY!!!
