Claire’s Review ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Starlet is part of the Sinister Fairy Tales Collection and can be read as a stand-alone. However, I do recommend that all books in this series are read as they are amazing!
Starlet is a sinister take on the tale of Anastasia, and the story of Dominic and Angel, and my god is it dark and twisted.
This is the first book I have read of Kenborn’s but it definitely won’t be my last. The twists and turns keep you glued to every page and desperate to find out the ending yet at the same time never wanting to reach it.
If you enjoy dark reads I cannot recommend this book enough, as it genuinely takes you through a rollercoaster of so many different emotions, and just when you think you know where it is going, things take a completely different turn!
Utterly brilliant and a must read!
Cora Kenborn is a USA Today Bestselling author who writes in multiple genres from dark and gritty romantic suspense to laugh-out-loud romantic comedy. Known for her sharp banter and shocking blindsides, Cora pushes her characters and readers out of their comfort zones and onto an emotional roller coaster before delivering a twisted happily ever after.
Cora believes there’s nothing better than a feisty heroine who keeps her alpha on his toes, and she draws inspiration from the sassy country women who raised her. However, since the domestic Southern Belle gene seems to have skipped a generation, she spends any free time convincing her family that microwaving Hot Pockets counts as cooking dinner.
Oh, and autocorrect thinks she's obsessed with ducks.
