RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW: Nobody Cares Unless You're Pretty by Lani Lynn Vale

Title: Nobody Cares Unless You’re Pretty
Series: Gator Bait Series, #1
Author: Lani Lynn Vale
Release Date: November 1st

About the Book

The problem with Wake was that he was understandable. He was the type of villain that literally scared the absolute shit out of you because you knew that under the right circumstances, you could end up exactly like him.

Which, sadly, was the case for me.

I’d done the exact same thing as Wake, and now I was a murderer just like him.

Did I know that I did wrong? Hell yes.

Did I regret that? Hell no.

Did I plan on changing a thing? Also, no.

Was I falling in love with a man that should scare the shit out of me? A resounding hell yes.

What a fantastic start to a new series!

"I wanted him more than I could ever imagine wanting a person."

Wake Westfield and Dutch Panchek first meet when she visits him in prison, following a shocking letter that she wrote him asking for some unorthodox advice. The attraction between them was instant but unacknowledged. Months later, Wake is out of prison and back in his small, beachside town of Accident, Florida, and waiting for the right moment to reconnect with Dutch. Once he does, things start to happen really quickly. Oh, boy! Hang on for the ride!

"We're not pretending. We're doing this real dating thing. You just can't seem to comprehend that we are."

This author has a seriously addictive writing style and I always look forward to reading her books so much! Wake and Dutch slotted together so well. I loved his alphaness that masked a complete heart of gold. He was a shining beacon for justice and he totally looked after his people. He was hot AF, and he and Dutch were burning up the very air they breathed whenever they were together. Gah! I loved these two so much. They were good people, in spite of their crimes. Events moved quickly in this story and there are some loose threads which, I understand, should be gradually tied off as the series progresses. I enjoyed meeting the guys (Wake's fellow inmates who have curiously been released from prison close together) and thoroughly look forward to their stories! So excited about this new series!
