Ford doesn't like the limelight. He shies away from it and prefers to keep his private life private. The other thing he keeps private is his feelings for his best friend's younger sister. A moment of weakness brought home the impossibility of them being together and he cut all contact with her. A year and a half later and she's back in his orbit.

Olivia has lived with the fact that Ford doesn't want her. She's tried to move on and having no contact with him has helped her try to forget about him. However, when he's suddenly back in her life and they begin to fall back into their old rhythm of friendship, her old crush comes back with a vengeance. However, there are more obstacles in their way than ever before.
Ford and Liv had amazing chemistry. They really clicked together and had this undeniable pull towards one another. The intimate scenes between them were HAWT! This was also quite an angsty read with all the issues that they have to deal with to be able to be together. Ford is a decent guy with misguided ideas of what's right and wrong, but I loved how he was determined to overcome the obstacles keeping them apart. Unfortunately, his fears kept him from dealing with them as he should. Olivia seemed younger than her age but I think circumstances and how her older brother treated her played a part in that. She really needed to break away from his expectations and the ghosts of the past before she did some proper growing up.
Overall, a really great, sexy, angsty romance.
