Wow! What a fab start to a new trilogy! You know from the blurb that the heroine gets to a point where she ends up with two men in her life but, flip! I don't even know who I want her to end up with!

Riley Johnson, Grayson Hale and Colton Bennett - all broken in their own way. Their story starts in high school and then moves on to college. I found the start of their stories quite hard to read because of what they all went through. It was brutal and heartbreaking. I felt so desperate for them all. They all just wanted to be seen, loved and cared for, and I felt sick at the life they each had to endure. When they found love and kindness, it was hard for them to trust, but the joy in their hearts when something went right was almost too good to be true.

"I see two men in your life. One is your tragedy and the other is your heartbreak."

Riley was a girl who'd been bullied, beaten, and humiliated, and yet she survived and thrived.

Grayson was a boy who'd done what he could to survive and protect his little sister, until fortune favored him.

Colton was a boy who was constantly angry with bitterness in his heart, but loved to make trouble.

Riley and Grayson had a beautiful, soulful connection.

Riley and Colton had a fiery, push-and-pull relationship.

There is so much more that I want to say, but I don't want to spoil anything for anyone, so all I'll say is that, seriously, all three are so deserving of a happy ending. Roll on book 2!!
