Loved it!

"I loved a man who would never love me back."

Ten years ago, Bram Crow married Dorcas Wheeler out of necessity. During those years, their marriage was strained as Bram dealt with his guilt and she grew to love him. When Dory finally has had enough and deems it safe to leave him and start over somewhere else, Bram realises what an idiot he's been. His guilt had caused him to treat her a certain way when all he wanted was to love her. Now that he's had his wakeup call, he's determined to prove that they were always meant to be.

Gosh - I adored this story! It was my favorite of the series. As usual, this story was a mix of humour, sexiness, brutality, tenderness and the unexpected. I loved everything about it. Bram and Dory had a real connection but their history pretty much clouded everything that they did. However, it's never too late to start over and I loved Bram's willingness to do whatever it took to keep Dory safe and have a real chance at marriage, life and love with her. This book was also a great intro to some new characters and I'm so looking forward to the new series coming out soon!
