Greyson Ratcliffe. I met him at sixteen, the hot new guy sitting on my jetty, an aspiring artist just passing through. He was my first kiss and my first love. I wanted forever with him. I didn’t even get a year.
Five years later, I’m a budding writer who scripts stories of love and struggle, the good and the bad and the ups and the downs. He’s a star on the rise; his wicked talent and crazy good looks have his face plastered on countless magazines. We move in two different worlds and still our paths cross again. We’re older and wiser and as crazy about each other as we had been as teenagers.
My medium is words and my imagination is limitless, but not even I could have written the incredible journey we traveled to reach our happily-ever-after. Life isn’t like fiction, and the greatest love stories don’t follow a script.

Beautifully written, beautifully presented.
This needs to be read along with a large bottle of wine, a huge bar of chocolate, and a box of tissues.
The prologue was heartbreakingly beautiful. I loved that Alexis and Greyson's story is in three parts and, whilst I took my time in the beginning, rationing myself to bathtime reading only, after about 60%, I NEEDED to finish their story.
Goodness!! The author ripped out my heart and, through all of their ups and downs, pieced it back together.
I loved the historical element - it gave the story a multi-faceted element. The neverending love that was present throughout, from Alexis's parents to Paige and Grant, and even the lovely menagerie of pets.
I loved how incredibly strong Alexis was and so forgiving, from the school bullies to the love of her family. She is a very compassionate lady with an amazing heart, who totally deserves to get her HEA.
Greyson, the new boy! He too was an incredible guy; he knew what he wanted and was not afraid to go after it.
They were a formidable team, with an amazing network of friends, able to take on all of life's quests.
Callum, Greyson's granddad, was a very interesting, all-knowing chap and added a calming aspect to Alexis and Greyson's story.
This was Alexis and Greyson's story, but each and every character played an equal part in their story, right down to Bugger and Benny and Joon.
A lovely story with all the feels. I went through a myriad of emotions. I laughed, swooned and bloody cried. Really enjoyed this.

LA Fiore loves losing herself in the worlds she creates. She also loves a good movie; her favorite is Star Wars, a love her son shares. They hope to build their own Millennium Falcon one day. She would like to meet the Winchester Boys to thank them for enlightening her on the versatility of salt as not just a food enhancer, but also a form of protection against supernatural threats. She lives in Pennsylvania with her husband and kids, their two spoiled cats, their awesome dog and their new puppy.
