Another fabulous read from this author!

Verity Moore desperately needs to give her career a facelift and also escape her mother's controlling clutches. When an opportunity of a lifetime comes along, she wants to grab it with both hands. However, a chance meeting with Dax Hughes throws things into something of a disarray for her.
"I was hungry. Hungry for everything Verity was willing to give. Hungrier still for all she was holding back."
Dax Hughes' number one rule is not to get involved with a woman in the industry. However, the mystery girl he meets in the elevator makes an indelible impression on him. When he later finds out that she's Verity Moore, he does his damnedest to keep her at arm's length. However, their electrifying connection is impossible to ignore. Unfortunately, both are harbouring secrets - secrets that could break them.

I loved this story. Verity and Dax were a compelling couple. Both, especially Dax, were fighting their mutual attraction hard but once they gave in to their desires, they were incandescent together! I loved the trust they built between them and how Verity gave Dax hope for future happiness. The plot was fantastic and I never saw the twist coming! Thoroughly recommend this series!
