This was a fun, amusing romcom with a big helping of sexy!
"How long have I hated Wyatt Morgan? And how long have I possibly just been afraid?"
Ellie Ryder and Wyatt Morgan have always had a prickly relationship since childhood. He likes to goad her and she likes to prove him wrong. Until one Christmas when they've both just about hit rock bottom and need one another in a way that they'd never have envisaged.
"I think I've wanted you my entire life. I was just too blind to realize it."
Months later, they find themselves occupying the same house and Wyatt is suddenly forced into the role of fake boyfriend. However, it's not long before fake becomes real but they need to get over Ellie's superstitions before they can move forward.
This was an adorable story in the manner that I'd expect from this author. It was funny and sexy, with amusing banter and a whole cast of colourful characters. I felt fully invested in Ellie and Wyatt's romance, and his little boy, Tucker, was just too cute! A fab, lighthearted read!
