REVIEW: Model Boyfriend by Stuart Reardon & Jane Harvey-Berrick

A powerful contemporary romance set in the fast-moving world of international modelling.

"What’s it like dating one of the most beautiful men in the world? A man whose face is on every magazine and ad campaign?

Not as much fun as it sounds, as Anna Scott is about to find out.

Retired from rugby at the age of 33, injured and bored, Nick is given the chance to enter the high stakes world of fashion photography as a model.

But behind the glittering façade lies an ugly reality: drugs, alcohol, all the deadly sins, and people willing to sleep their way to the top.

It’s a tough life and tougher on relationships.

Nick needs to learn to navigate the treacherous path quickly or risk losing it all—including the woman who has become his reason for living.

In this glamorous world, there is no room for error. Being a MODEL BOYFRIEND has never been harder.

Can nice guy Nick find his way through, or will he be tempted to risk it all? Because the one thing he despises is failure.

He’s a lot more than a pretty face."

This story continues where UNDEFEATED left off, although it can also be read as a stand-alone story in its own right.

JULIE'S REVIEW ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I absolutely adored Nick and Anna, Wow what a lot of ups and downs can one relationship endure?

They are a formidable team and as much as one person wants to have total control over every aspect of their relationship, it needs to be left to evolve naturally. people need to learn from their mistakes and learn from life's lessons.

Nick and Anna did just this even though it was hurting them both, they each needed to work out how deep their love went, suffice to say they both had friends to turn towards if needed.

I absolutely loved Brendan, everyone needs a Brendan in their lives!

I can't even begin to think about life not doing the thing that became your life's work, then to try and carve out another career, and whilst Nick didn't always make the right choices he did give them his all. The modeling business did not sound like much fun, not sure I could have dealt with all the rejections.

Jealousy is a nasty emotion and it seems it's hard to shake it off. I was glad to see Nick and Anna deal with his ex with such grace.

I loved how all the side characters were detrimental to the story, they all played a part in the bigger story.

In conclusion, this was a great love story, dealing with love, rage, jealousy and even hate! but the truth dealt with everything is a graceful and timely way.

There were some lovely ahhh moments, plus some OMG moments, some sweet times and lots of lovely sexy times!

We got a great story, filled with twist and turns to keep your interest from the start.... A great page-turner.
