Mick Madison and Jules Vandelsen are complete opposites in social status but their mutual attraction knows no boundaries. Jules has been raised like a princess, sheltered and in the lap of luxury. Mick is a carpenter and a salt of the earth type, but is a gentle man as well as a gentleman through and through. He kept his distance until one traumatic night brings them well and truly into each other's orbit. It's a night that creates a fissure in Jules' seemingly perfect but empty life, and has her taking control of her life and moving towards a future she's only ever dreamed about.

"His southern spark ignited my bespoken life and burned away the frivolity until only my vulnerable heart was left."

This story was hugely romantic, sexy and suspenseful. Jules is like Sleeping Beauty waking up and realising that her long ago dreams never died, and now she's determined to recapture them and make them reality. Mick is a hunk of a guy! I've got to get me a Texan giant of my own! He was so swoony - protective, possessive, encouraging and absolutely on fire for Jules. Jules is a sweetheart with a big, innocent heart. I loved her courage, her self-effacement, and her determination. Th two of them together made my heart melt. This was a really great read and I'm really looking forward to the next book in this series.

Dr. Rebecca Sharp, while using a pen name, is actually a doctor living in Pennsylvania with her husband - the love of her life. She enjoys working in her practice with her father as well as letting her creativity run free as an author. Growing up she's always loved a good love story and finally decided to give writing one of her own a go. After graduating with her doctoral degree, she now enjoys spending that thing called free time traveling with her husband, cooking, and knitting.
