It's only for a few weeks while I intern for the Wildcats - his new NHL team. And there are some pros to living with my hot and ridiculous friend (or is that ridiculously hot?). He's fun and unexpectedly sweet, and he reminds me not to take myself too seriously.
I had no intention of breaking the one rule given to me on my first day on the job: no sleeping with the players. And if I had, I never dreamed that player would be Johnny Maverick.

Johnny Maverick and Dakota Lawrence have a great friendship. He loves to flirt outrageously with her and she takes it all with a pinch of salt. That's not to say that she isn't attracted to him, but there's no way she wants to be just another notch on his bedpost. Besides, she thinks he's usually joking, however, he's always more than happy to follow through if she would just give them a chance. When a summer internship with Johnny's new NHL team has them living together, she finds it harder and harder to ignore the sizzling chemistry between them.

I absolutely adored this story! Johnny is EVERYTHING!! He has a heart of gold. I loved his carefree, spontaneous nature, which masked a pretty vulnerable soul who was looking to be accepted for himself rather than what he could do for other people. He was playful, hella hot and a little bit ridiculous sometimes! Dakota tried to ignore her attraction to him whilst trying to make her own way in the world, but Johnny was far too hard for her to resist him for too much longer. These two were off-the-charts HOT! I adored the build up between them - the flirtation, the tension, the sexiness! A fabulous read!
