Blurb:

I hate Christmas.

As CEO of my company, I’ve banned decorations from the office, festive music from the lobby and any kind of secret Santa gifts between employees are strictly forbidden.

I’m heading to the airport, away from the Christmas lights and the mulled wine, heading for sunshine and margaritas when I get a call from Granny. She’s sprained her ankle and needs my help filling in for her as head of the village Christmas Committee. Snowsly is the Christmas Capital of England and the last place I want to be in the lead up to Christmas.

But there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for Granny.

When I arrive in Snowsly, I’m introduced to Celia Sommers who is Christmas’ biggest fan and therefore my own personal nightmare before Christmas. Worse than that, I have to work with her to make Snowsly’s Christmas market a success.

Celia is determined to get me in the festive spirit. It’s not going to work.

It doesn’t matter if she’s smart and funny and easy to flirt with—if she doesn’t stop looking at me with her sparkling eyes and pouting her completely kissable lips, Celia is going straight to the top of my naughty list.

Caroline's Review
🌟🌟🌟🌟1/2

What a fun, hot, feel-good read!

”Every time she was near, the air seemed warmer, the stars seemed to shine a little brighter, and I stopped hating Christmas quite so much.”

Sebastian Fox is like the grinch. He doesn’t celebrate Christmas. He can’t stand Christmas songs and the whole lead-up to the big day. When his beloved Granny sprains her ankle and calls him to Snowsly to help with Christmas preparations, he has no choice but to delay his departure for sunnier climes, in order to help her out. There he meets Celia Sommers – the beautiful, eternally cheerful woman who looks like an elfin princess with her mane of white-blonde hair. Her outlook on Christmas is the complete opposite of Sebastian’s – she embraces it with both hands and throws herself gung-ho into all the festive prep. He finds himself not only drawn to her and her light, but her cheer is infectious as he finds himself solving issues to give everyone the best Christmas they’ve ever had.

”She was like a lush, ripe fruit that I wanted to sink my teeth into, suck, and feel drip down my chin.”

Flip! Initially, this book had all the feel of a charming, festive chick-lit novel and then, BOOM! Did somebody say HOT?! The author completely dialled up the steam factor! Don’t doubt that this story was still charming, delightful and feel-good. It was fun and cheerful. Celia was adorable with her Christmas puns and festive garb. She seemed indomitable, even though we realise that she’s carrying some emotional baggage around. Sebastian wasn’t really a grinch nor a grump. He also carried emotional Christmas-related baggage that he’d never really explored or tried to come to terms with. He adored his Granny and I loved that he was practical and didn’t just solve problems, but made perfectly good solutions materialise. I loved that the more he got to know Celia, the more that her happiness mattered to him. Their relationship felt very natural. They had great banter and brilliant chemistry. I mean, WOWZERS! Celia and Sebastian were fire!! *fans self*. If you’re looking for a wonderful read as a lead-up to Christmas, then this is the book for you!
