This was a fun, festive read!

Lexi Foster can't believe that her old neighbour left his beloved dog, Rudy, to his nephew, Carter Sheppard - the guy she crushed on hard in high school. These days, Carter is playboy baseball player who is in no position to look after a dog. When Carter strikes a bargain with her, she can't resist accepting. However, the more time she spends with him, the more Lexi struggles to remind herself that their relationship is fake, especially when Carter seems to be so convincing....

This was my favourite of the latest novellas in this series. Who doesn't love a playboy baller and a sweet librarian together? Carter was charming, indulgent and sexy AF. Lexi was adorably awkward but a little bit sassy, too. I loved their chemistry and Carter's persistence. I adored their little dates. I adored them! Fab little read!
