RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW: The Bully by Willa Nash

The Bully by Willa Nash is now live!

Nellie Rivera is trading traffic for tranquility. When the quiet streets of small-town Montana beckon, she leaves Denver behind and moves to Calamity. It would be the perfect adventure if not for Cal Stark.

When her archnemesis dares to show his face one Saturday morning, declaring he is moving there too, she vows to make his life a misery. The town isn't big enough for the both of them and besides . . .

She was here first.

Cal has been a thorn in her side since high school. He might have bullied her back then, but she's not a modest teenager anymore and has learned a few plays of her own. If all goes to plan, she'll run the former pro quarterback out of town within a month.

There's only one problem. Cal has the same plan. He wants Calamity bad enough to pull out all the stops. And after one kiss, she realizes that he doesn't play fair.

Caroline's Review
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Loved, loved, loved this story! I was hooked right from the start.

"My nemesis since high school. The perpetual thorn in my side. The woman who could crawl beneath my skin with a single, contemptuous word."

Cal Stark and Nellie Rivera do NOT get on. Cal loves to rile her up and Nellie loves to knock him down. She hates him with a passion, but there's no denying the lightning chemistry between them. Whenever they're in the vicinity of each other, expect fireworks - of one kind or another. When Cal arrives in Calamity only a couple of weeks after Nellie has settled there, it's clear that the town ain't big enough for the both them.

"He made me vulnerable. He made me weak. No one could tear through my defenses quite like Cal."

Gah! I adored Cal and Nellie! I gobbled up every single word of this story as quickly as I could. Their POVs were so clear in terms of the things that happened when they were teenagers and how they saw each other in the present. Cal was heartachingly vulnerable under his a-hole exterior. I fell for him hard! Nellie is one snarky cookie but I loved that she was a really good person - even when she was being mean, she always bore a certain amount of guilt along with it. Their chemistry was through the roof! Enemies-to-lovers is one of my favourites tropes and this story was exactly everything I love about the trope. It was entertaining, emotional, sexy AF, and heart-melting. Thoroughly recommend!
