Cold Cole Heart is not what I was expecting, well that may be a lie because I don’t even know what I was expecting lol. Truthfully I didn’t even read the blurb. It’s been my experience that going in completely blind makes the experience all the better. This was no different. I’m going to try to review without giving things away.
Cole Heart was born to be a hero. He’s strong, loyal and brave. But the things he endured at the hand of a monster made one of him. For years he’s sought revenge, now he’s finally going to have it. So he thought.
Natalie Dusana has endured hell for years at the hands of her cousin, so when she gets away from it it doesn’t matter that it’s not much better of a situation. Starved for affection and meaningful touches she finds herself drawn to the monster that is Heart.
There are so many things about this book that I loved but I can’t tell you because it’ll spoil it so, sorry you’ll just have to take my word for it. And of course K. threw in a twist that I did not see coming AT ALL!
It’s dark and depraved and thrilling and loving and emotional.
