I was completely drawn into this story!
Courtney Williams is packing up her old life and moving into the big city. Looking for a fresh start after devastatingly realizing her life was a sham. Now that her divorce is final, she’s leaving her selfish ex-husband behind to start over.
She found the perfect space to build her new life. What she wasn’t expecting to find was the perfect man, her architect, Lucas Fremont.
Lucas is the perfect male specimen (as most of ARR’s heroes are). He’s a single dad, totally alpha and absolutely amazing. He is possessive and goes for what he wants, and that’s Courtney.
Never in a millions years did these two expect to find each other, but now that they have they’re determined to not let go.
I adored Courtney! She’s such a likable character, I honestly didn’t find one thing that irked me. Even after all of the crap she’s been through in life, she’s still able and willing to love so fully. It’s beautiful the connection she forms with Maddi, and they bond so easily.
Lucas, just as likable. He’s completely and utterly swoon-worthy! Not one to run around the block to satisfy his manly needs, he’s just been content to raise his daughter alone, hoping one day the right woman will come around. And she did.
This is a standalone in ARR’s Fluke My Life series, and just like the other you will not be disappointed!
