I thoroughly enjoyed this final instalment of Carter, Theo and Daphne's story.

Following the cliffhanger from the last book, after Theo receives medical treatment, the three are whisked away to New York by Leo Morelli, where both Carter and Theo battle with their own demons. Theo had to work his way through the idea of living a 'sinful' life with Carter and June, whilst Carter had to battle his fears of exposing how important Theo and June were to him, making them targets for his enemies. He had so much more to lose now than he'd ever had before. I thought June remained very much herself - brave, sweet, independent and willing to do whatever she could to keep the connection and love that the three of them had found.

And, can I just mention Leo? After having previously read his painful story, my heart felt full at the happiness he had found with Haley and his baby girl. This story really brought the Morelli clan together and made Carter see what he'd been missing by living overseas and away from his family. A fab finish to this trilogy.
