RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW: My Enemy Next Door by Whitney G.

“Give it to me harder.” “Ohhhhh, yes, Baby!” “I’m about to come…”

No, these aren’t the lines from a porno script. These are the loud moans that are currently coming through my neighbor’s wall. (I’ve even heard her say “Oh Daddyyyy!” a time or two, but no judgement.)

Since moving to New York and taking a job at a new firm, I haven’t had a good night’s sleep thanks to my neighbor’s “sexcapades.”

What the hell is she doing over there?

If that wasn’t bad enough, the woman I’ve always wanted in college also works at this firm, but she makes my days difficult since she still considers me to be an “enemy” and refuses to talk to me.

It’s not until I confront my neighbor about her moans that I realize that they’re the same person.

And she’s been keeping a dirty, audiobook narrator secret…

My Enemy Next Door is a super fun, contemporary novella about two former college “enemies.”

It is best read and experienced over a cup of coffee.

🌟🌟🌟🌟

I loved this story but the ending left me hanging a little bit. It wasn't a cliffhanger - just maybe an abrupt end?

"This man was still, all these years later, the sexiest man I'd ever seen in my life."

Kelsie AKA Chassie Heritage and Tyler Hudson have a history of one-upmanship. They were like that through college and when they end up working together a few years later, the enmity is still there between them. Well, it is on Chassie's side. Tyler sees their 'relationship' from a completely different point of view.

""Let me help you with this first." He suddenly cupped the back of my neck and pressed his mouth against mine."

This was such a fab, amusing and hot story - the chemistry between Chassie and Tyler is unmistakeable. Chassie is seriously holding on to old grudges, and Tyler is outrageously inappropriate with her. When he discovers Chassie's secret occupation, all bets are off. These two were an explosion waiting to happen. There was tension, attraction and more than a spark between them. The only thing I was disappointed about was the ending. I didn't quite get it? Maybe we were supposed to infer something from the ending? It was slightly abrupt and I felt that the story was somewhat incomplete.
