Gaaahh!! These two! There were so many reasons why they shouldn’t be together, but it was as if they were two souls who recognised each other, against their will and in spite of their initial dislike for other another. Magnus was a wholly apt name for someone as magnificent as him! He was incredibly strong of will, which made the savage slow burn so much more riveting. His control was startling but he had a little tell that I found incredibly titillating. However, once he crossed the line, oh my God! His domineering manner was hella hot!! He was FIRE! He claimed her ferociously yet there was an underlying tenderness to his actions. Honestly, he was a compelling specimen of a man in all the ways!! I thought Tinsley was more than a match for him. She had a backbone of steel and a loyal, soft heart. I loved that she didn’t bow to peer pressure, that she was happy to walk her own path and do her own thing. I adored that she wasn’t a brat and was ready to admit when she was wrong. Most of all, she had a will to match that of Magnus. Together they were voracious, intense, and all-consuming. This was an enthralling, heart-thumping Top Read 2021!
