RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW: Jock Royal by Sara Ney

Release Date: June 24

IT’S EASY TO TAKE ONE DARE WHEN YOU THINK IT’S HARMLESS.

Ashley Dryden-Jones is the best rugby player on the field—when I take a dare I instantly regret, I had no way of knowing he was a gentleman. An athlete. British with no plans to stay in the States.

He makes me forget myself, bruises, 5 o’clock shadow, accent and all.

He makes me forget I cannot crawl into bed with him at night—or get drunk and throw caution to the wind for once in my overly cautious life.

Because he’s my new roommate.

ONE STUPID BET LEADS TO ONE UNFORGETTABLE NIGHT.

When I win a trip to Vegas I need a plus one; he’s the strapping, strong and responsible choice. Besides—I’ve never been anywhere and he has.

He is the best friend I didn’t know I needed.

Ashley is one of the good ones—but I’m about to find out how bad this good boy can be.

Caroline's Review

🌟🌟🌟🌟

This was a really enjoyable read – it was fun and sexy!

”Wow. He is so cute. Which…could be a problem. How am I supposed to live with a guy I’m secretly lusting after all of a sudden?”

Georgia Parker has just transferred to a new college during her senior year because of her scholarship funding. She’s on the athletics team and, even though she’s not a freshman, her team insist on hazing her. Unfortunately, the target of her task is one Ashley Dryden-Jones, the giant English rugby player who’s cottoned on to her antics. When they later realise that they’re in the same class and then end up on the same project, Ashley wants nothing to do with her, but Georgia is determined to show him how sorry she is. When they finally start over, Georgia soon finds herself moving into his rented house as his new roommate. Both go into the arrangement with some trepidation because the truth is, they’re attracted to each other, but have no plans to do anything about it. Until…Georgia wins an all-expenses paid trip to Vegas!

”How the f*ck am I supposed to spend a weekend with her in Sin City and not think sinful things about her?”

This was such a fun read. I adored both Georgia and Ashley. They were awkward yet funny and sweet, and so hot together! I loved their interactions with each other, as well as their friends. Georgia is a pretty straight, honest person, who doesn’t put up with any nonsense. Ashley was swoony! I loved that he was direct but caring and sensitive. They were both great, earnest people and I loved the little games Georgia instigated to enable their truths to come out. The only thing that I didn’t massively enjoy was all the British-isms for Ashley. I thought it was slightly overdone but I know how this author adores all things British, so it was also pretty cute. LOL.
