RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW: On a Wednesday by Whitney G.

We met on a Wednesday.

Became enemies, then lovers, on a Wednesday.

And we made a final promise before saying goodbye, on a Wednesday …

Kyle Stanton is the cockiest playboy who has ever set foot on this university’s campus.

He’s also the last person on earth that I want to interview for my senior thesis since:

1) I haven’t forgotten how he left me hanging for a group project during our freshman year. 2) He has a tendency to believe that any woman who breathes in his direction wants him. 3) Did I mention how infuriatingly cocky he is?

If I hear him utter the phrase, “No need to stare, I’ll let you ride it up close and personal, just say the word,” one more time, I will scream.

At least, those are my initial impressions until he proposes “a perfect deal” that works in our best interest. Until one filthy kiss changes everything, and he shows me a side of himself that makes me fall in love.

We only have one semester left together, though …

He’s bound for the professional football league, and I’m bound for London.

We promise to remain long-distance “friends,” but a brutal argument tears us apart, and we haven’t spoken to each other since.

Until now.

We met on a Wednesday.

Became everything, then nothing, on a Wednesday.

And now he’s shown up to my engagement party, all these years later, on a Wednesday …

On a Wednesday is a standalone inspired by Adele’s “Someone Like You.”

I SUPER loved this story!

”She’s supposed to marry me…Not anyone else.”

Kyle Stanton and Courtney Johnson have a history. They became friends at college in their senior year and then something more…but never fully defined. Their paths separated them post-college and then, just as they were nearing the home straight back to each other, things completely fell apart for them. Now, sixteen months later, Courtney has just gotten engaged and Kyle is determined that he’s the one she should be with.

”I felt like we belonged together – that he was who I was meant to spend the rest of my life with, but for whatever reason, now wasn’t out time.”

I adore the way this author writes. She’s funny yet emotional. There’s always great banter between the characters which always keeps me engaged, as well as more moving scenes that has me completely invested. Her stories twist and turn, as unexpected insights into the characters and events become revealed. Kyle was cocky and sure of himself. A player who wanted to have the best senior year of his life before being drafted into the NFL. However, Courtney catches him off-guard as he becomes caught up in her. Courtney is a loner – but not through choice. In Kyle, she’s found her first true college friend, as they spend days and evenings together exploring their college town. The attraction between them keeps things buzzing between them as Courtney strives to stay in the friendzone until Kyle boldly steps over the line. I loved how the story played out – moving between the past and the present, as we unravel their history and follow them in the present. Kyle, for all his arrogance, was such a softie! I loved his grand gestures. Such a fabulous story and I can’t wait for this author’s next release!
