Spencer Carrollton AKA Mr Freeze and Joselyn Winthrop are opposites. He’s a cold, stick-up-his butt, anti-relationship type and she’s a bubbly girl who is definitely a relationship type. Yet, the attraction they feel for the other is identical – hot yet aggravating! They were scorching from the moment they met – Spencer is very direct and says what he thinks and, oh boy, he’s thinking a lotta hotta things! Their chemistry was sizzling off the page. He demands and she resists. She like no one he’s ever met before, yet she can see beyond his stern front to a much more vulnerable man beneath – the one who keeps everything locked up tight. I loved their restraint – keeping their feelings and desires contained seemed like a Herculean effort – especially for Spencer, a man who can pretty much have everything he wants.

This story really grabbed me, as Joselyn held out for more than a smokin’ night together. I loved her mum and the support she received from her – I loved that they could talk frankly to each other about life, love and sex. Joselyn was a hardworking girl with principles and I loved that she loved herself enough to not settle for scraps. Spencer was a really tough nut to crack. He was almost beside himself with wanting her, blowing hot and cold often enough to make her head spin. Ultimately, she was slowly breaking down his walls and making him question everything he thought he could live without. A fabulous, super sexy story!
