When Kerrigan Hale's friend, mentor and investor dies unexpectedly, she finds herself at the mercy of his grandson, Pierce Sullivan. However, he's nothing like how she imagined he would be. Instead, he is cold, hostile and unforgiving.

Pierce just wants to get the business of absorbing his grandfather’s legacy into his own company over and done with. His curiosity over Kerrigan and her role in his grandfather’s life has him driving from Colorado to Calamity, Montana, to personally deliver a message. He finds a stunning, feisty woman who he can’t get out of his mind.

This story took off running from the first chapter. The chemistry between Kerrigan and Pierce was electric. Pierce’s instant desire for her and his obsession with her mouth totally hooked me in. I loved that he found her completely irresistible. However, there were factors in his life that meant it was close to impossible to pursue any kind of relationship with her. I loved Kerrigan’s persistence and determination. She was gorgeous and direct, and wasn’t afraid to put herself forward. I loved her zest for the things she’s loved. Pierce grabbed on to my heart when he showed his commitment to her and what he was willing to put up with so she would give them a chance. This was such a wonderful story! I loved it!
