Brilliant read! Loved it! Loved it! Loved it!
”Question: What is a one-night stand called when it happens twice? Answer: Fate.”
On the worst day of her life, Julianna Brown has the best night of her life. Just as she’s grappling to accept her fate, destiny steps in and gives her something to live for.
”I’ve never wanted anyone as much as I want you…You’re all I think about, dream about. You must be a witch because the way you make me behave knows no bounds.”
God, this book! I couldn’t put it down. This story was heartbreaking, funny, and steamy. Julia hid her despair under her stoicism. Her thoughts were irreverent, even as she struggled to come to terms with her prognosis. I loved the sizzling chemistry and soul-touching connection between Henri and her.
”You taste like sunshine and berries. August heat and the moon at midnight, a cool blast of water from the lake at noon.”
And, flippin’ Henri! His swoon factor was HIGH. Who doesn't love a beautiful, passionate and lyrical Frenchman? I was absolutely hooked on him from the moment they met. He was attentive, intense and so enamoured of Julia. I loved everything about this story and can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
