What a diabolically good plot! Intriguing, twisty and hot!!

Landry Croft lives in a gilded cage. She only stays to protect her little sister but life is becoming more untenable by the day. Ford Mann enters her life - he's cocky, annoyingly charming, and looks like a god. Not only is he in her classes at college, but he also appears in her home, too. He's confusing and changeable. Not just cocky and charming, but also surprisingly caring and sweet. He's also scary AF but always compellingly sexy. She becomes attuned to his moods and recognises which version of him she's dealing with. And, then in her time of need, everything becomes crystal clear.

This was a fabulous, dark read! Landry is more intuitive than she realises as she subconsciously realises which version of Ford Mann she's dealing with at any given time. She's stoic but desperation eats at her. The more time she spends with Ford, the more risks she takes. Ford - well, we know exactly who he is...or, rather, we know exactly who they are!! I have no idea who she's going to end up with - one, two or all of them?? It's actually really hard to gauge. Deep down, I have a preference, but could she end up being good for all of them? These guys are complex creatures but also trapped by their circumstances and their upbringing. One of them is a total psycho and they are deeply competitive with one another, as well as deeply loyal. Totally hated them when I met them in the Cinderella Trilogy but, in this story, the author manages to evoke sympathy out of me for their situation. Don't get me wrong, these guys are still a-holes, but it's not hard to see why they're the way they are. Such compelling, addictive reading. Can't wait for the conclusion!
